How do I snap my sales?

  • Go to the Add Sales page and click the large button to enable the camera.
  • Take a snap of the number you want to ADD.
  • MoneyMug extracts the numbers automatically.
  • Occasionally the input may read the wrong number — just click Snap Again.
  • For Shopify dashboard where sometime K is used, eg 2.3K Snap the number and press the K button.
  • Make an error and below you can see the session log (items you have added), you can delete here.
  • Also review your entries on the history page to delete older entries.
  • If you are snapping number from a spreadsheet, toggle the line view to isolate number better.

Can I track expenses as well as sales?

  • Yes, use the Add Costs page.
  • Functionality is mostly the same as the sales page.
  • After you capture each cost, you can assign it to a basic department.
  • These are the basic departments most accountants need.

Do I need spreadsheets?

  • No you can do all your bookkeeping by camera now.
  • If you want a spreadsheet you can export one from the Export page.
  • Email it to yourself or directly to your accountant
